A lot of people choose this brand as their favorite exfoliate brand. ST.Ives is well-known as their physical exfoliate products. There is a lot of choices for the Varian. So, I’m curious for their product too. I chose ST.Ives Gentle Smoothing Scrub & Mask. It claims that this variant suit with dry skin because it one of a gentle physical exfoliate. This product can be used as a scrub or as a mask.

I tried to use this product in 2 ways

First, as a scrub. Sadly, this product breaks me out. Besides that, it makes my skin more sensitive that before. It causes redness and acne on my face.

Second, as a mask. After the acne calmer that before, I tried this product as a mask. I still hoped that this product can suit with me well. When I used this as a mask, I felt itchy in several part on my face. In the next day, the red acne appears on the itchy part before.

In short, I could not use this product because it breaks me out. So, I sold this product to one of my friends. She really loves this product and this product works well on her skin.

I love kpop since high school. Since that day, I watch everything with Korea in it almost every day, their variety show until their drama. When I watch K-drama, I discover some Korean make up and skincare brand, one of them of is Mamonde. I start to search everything about this brand, start from their lip product until I found this toner.

This is a hydrating toner that contains 90% of rose water. It has a watery texture. It absorbs well on my skin and I really love it scent. It has a rose scent, so I think, someone who love rose scent will love this toner.

I used this toner using cotton or sometimes I used this for CSM. It hydrates my skin but not that intense. When I need a light feel of hydrating or when I want to CSM, I prefer to use this toner. This toner becomes one of my favorite toner.

After reading several articles, I find out that mugwort becomes one of rising-star ingredients. It claims that it will give same effect like what cica or centella asiatica does. It works as anti-inflammation and helps calming the sensitive skin. Additionaly, mugwort works as anti-oxidant and anti-bacterial too. So, I expect that this ingredient will suit with my sensitive and acne-prone skin.

There is a lot of skincare that contains mugwort as its main ingredient, but I choose an ampoule from isntree because the price is still affordable for me if I’m comparing to another skincare that contains mugwort.

This product comes with the glass bottle. It has watery texture and it can absorb easily. Because of its texture, I use this before serum. I don’t really like the scent, it is like an herbal drink, I think. Honestly, I am not a person that love an herbal drink. 

I can feel the effect about 3 weeks after using it, it really helps to calm my acne and reduce my redness. I try this product when my skin in a really bad condition (after my community service) so, I can see the differences before and after using this product. Now, I’m on my second bottle. I add this ampule to my staple skincare. One thing that I don’t like from this product only its scent.
